This is a private lecture for the Aung Medical Qi Gong community

An excellent practitioner should not only have a good philosophical and theoretical background, but also have the necessary skills, good purified energy and a compassionate attitude. It is also vitally important for the therapist to not only be good at treating patients, but also be a healer. In order to become a healer, the practitioner should have an abundance of positive Qi and the ability to purify the energy of oneself and others. The most important part of healing is associated with the understanding of taking the negative (or suffering) energy, converting it into positive and healing energy, and then giving it back to the patient through his or her body. This is known as recycling the energy from negative to positive energy. In order to do this, the healer has to practice medical Qi Gong regularly and at the same time purify their own negative energy while keeping their body, mind, and spirit in alignment. Compassion and good intentions also play a very important role in this balanced and harmonious state of healing.
